The new 70,000–75,000 SF facility is a radical departure from traditional "siloed" classrooms. Designed by Koning Eizenberg Architecture in collaboration with NAC Architecture, the campus embraces "Project-Based Learning" through:
- Indoor-Outdoor Synergy: Open-air walkways and flexible "learning sets" that blend science, art, and math labs into collaborative hubs.
- Coastal Integration: The building uses natural materials like weathered copper and timber to mirror the surrounding hillside and withstand the coastal environment.
- Net-Zero Sustainability: From its inception, the school was designed for resilience, featuring massive solar arrays that push the building toward net-zero energy.
